Classlink and Chromebook Student Access Instructions

1. https://mail.google.com

2. School Email - Full Last name, your first initial of your first name, the last 3 digits of your student ID#, and the last 2 digits of your Birthyear.

   1. 1. • This is an Example: StudentF98705@vvstu.org

         • ** If you have 2 long last names greater than 14 total characters - scroll down and read below

3. Your Password is your:

   1. 1. • Student ID number, plus the last 2 digits of your Birthyear.

           • This is an Example: 29908805 

STUDENTS MUST->> Use this Username/Email if they have 2 very long last names or they might not be fully enrolled in all their Classes!!!!

Count the Characters ( letters, hyphen or dash ) -> if it is greater than 14, then follow these instructions:

*Special Note: Very long last names or 2 long last names will need to remove the space or hyphen/dash and be shortened to only the first 14 characters;

As an example: 

• A student with the last name of Hernandez-Rodriguez, first name of James, ID# of 299089 and Birthyear of 2007 

• Would remove the space, hyphen/dash and shorten the last name to 14 characters-> HernandezRodri 

• Making their Login/Username -> HernandezRodriJ08907

  • Their Email/Gmail would be-> HernandezRodriJ08907@vvstu.org
