A fun, hands-on activity where students feed a silly monster while practicing communication skills! Children label and choose foods, make requests, use action words, and comment on what happens. This activity supports emerging AAC users (TK–3rd grade) and encourages turn-taking, core word use (eat, want, like, put, feed), and playful interaction. Can be played with a 3-D monster snack keeper or printable/laminated food cards. Extensions include sorting, counting, describing, and imaginative play.
