Padlet

Padlet is an platform for online learning that allows for a number of online teaching opportunities. This collaborative communication tool for learning and teaching can be used to create multiple forms of an online notice board or ‘wall’. Teachers and students can share notes on this common wall.

Study together (formative use)

You or your teacher can build a wall on Padlet which can be shared with other students or teachers. You can make contributions to the wall by posting your ideas/questions or answers. Those responses are not only limited by using text but also links, videos, images or document files could be used. You have the option to add your name to your responses on Padlet or respond anonymously. Being able to post anonymously could create an open space to respond freely.

Padlet walls could be used in different ways that enhance collaboration in the online classroom. Padlet could for example be used to create a brainstorm session, a discussion, to ask students about their course evaluation, to share resources, etc. Padlet enables you to see all the contributions from fellow-students or teachers. Those contributions could inspire you to create your own answer or to learn from others.
