National Social Studies Honor Society

The Social Studies Honor Society recognizes students in 11th and 12th grade who exemplify excellence in the Social Studies field. Juniors and Seniors are initially considered for selection if they achieve a cumulative GPA of an 87% or higher in their coursework. Entrance into the society is also contingent upon taking a course in at least one honors or Advanced Placement level course along with being enrolled in a Social Studies class each year. The Social Studies Honor Society will accept applications in October (Seniors only) and April (Juniors and Seniors).
