International Thespian Society
The International Thespian Society (ITS) is the honor society for secondary school theatre students. Membership is granted for the performance of meritorious work in theatre arts. High school Thespian induction eligibility requirements and procedures include enrollment in theatre arts classes, involvement in a production at the student's high school whether in the cast or on a crew, fundraising for thespian events and competitions, and working within the community. Points are accrued and then submitted, where the elected officers will decide on a membership invitation. The International Thespian Society induction ceremony is held in February.

Criteria for Membership
Student must be in the 9th 10th, 11th or 12th grade.
Student must be enrolled in a theater art class.
Student must be involved in a production at the HS whether in the cast or on a crew.
Student must participate in fundraising for events and competitions.Â
