Hearing from community members is essential to building a strong list of ideas for the future that will best support Brandon's progress. Community members have the opportunity to share their ideas in the following ways:
At the Kick-Off event on April 30 during six forums on topics chosen by a planning committee of community representatives. Those topics are: Community Resources; Recreation and Community Engagement; Development, Housing, and Jobs; Beyond Downtown; Education; Infrastructure and Public Safety.
Through a survey available through May 17 online and on paper at the Town Office, Library, Senior Center, and American Legion.
Through small group forums at schools and with other organizations. If you have a group that would benefit from a forum, contact Alyssa at alyssa@vtrural.org or 802-222-6896.
When they are available, we post the compiled notes from focus forums, the action ideas for prioritization, and the top priorities chosen at the 2nd meeting. Once priorities are chosen, community members can sign up to join a task force to help advance work on those priorities.
