BEFORE MAKING YOUR ACCOUNT PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE DETAILS BELOW.
The 4-H Online system is imperfect, but here are some tips to help navigate it:
Personal cell phones and personal/family emails are recommended.
Google Chrome of Firefox are the best browsers to work with it.
Enrolling in 4-H Online will provide us with your child's health history information, their "signed" Code of Conduct form, and other pertinent information that we will need to prepare for 4-H Camp. Please make sure you pay attention to these details when you enter your information:
If making a brand new account, be sure to select JAMES CITY as your county when prompted
When adding a youth, please select that you are joining 4-H, NOT that you are just participating in an activity and not joining 4-H.
In the Clubs section, please choose 4-H Junior Summer Camp unit CLUB.
In the Projects section, please choose Personal Development.
In the Questions section, you may upload a 4-H Event Medication form if your child will need medication at camp. You do not need to fill this out for over-the-counter medications like Tylenol or hydrocortisone cream unless it is something your child uses every day. The 4-H Center carries medications like this and will give them to campers as needed.
In the Health Form section, please fill out all fields including any dietary restrictions, last tetanus shot date, physician's name and contact information, your health insurance policy number, and any health conditions that your child has.
In the Consents section, please respond to the media release, privacy statement, and code of conduct questions.
Please make sure to complete 4-H Online enrollment for your camper as soon as possible. If your 4-Her is already enrolled in 4-H Online for the 2024-2025 4-H year, your 4-H Extension Agent may need to add the 4-H Junior Summer Camp to your enrollment.
If your enrollment says Archived, please email your Extension Agent. The enrollment status may otherwise say one of the following:
- Incomplete: The enrollment need your attention and is not complete.
- Awaiting Review: It is being reviewed by our office. You may have to make some changes or it will be moved on as approved.
- Approved: There were no issues with your enrollment, and nothing more needed at this time.
If you are a member of a 4-H Club, your 4-H Online should already be completed and no further steps are necessary.
If you have any issues enrolling, these tip sheets below may be helpful.
The Medication Form is required for campers and counselors who will be receiving prescription medication during the camp week. This is not for things like Ibuprofen, Tylenol, allergy medication, or other "over the counter" medicines. Please fill this out and bring it with your medication (if necessary) at camper drop off.
The Equine Waiver is required for all campers and counselors who are interested in joining the Colonial Riders JCC 4-H Horse Club. We do not have Equine forms necessary for 4-H Junior Camp 2025 at Jamestown.
