The first step to getting your child to attend 4-H Junior Camp is completing the Google Form promptly on February 13th at 8:30am.
Due to registration constraints and high waitlist numbers, we encourage families to also consider multiple weeks of 4-H Junior Camp as a back-up plan. Every camper should get a chance to experience the magic of 4-H camp, regardless of what week of camp they attend. The summer calendar can be found here: https://www.jamestown4hcenter.org/summer-camps/4-h-junior-camp
SEE REGISTRATION FORM BELOW. SCROLL FURTHER DOWN FOR 4-H ONLINE ENROLLMENT.

After completing the Google form, the 4-H agent will send an email notifying you of your placement (whether it be successfully registered and awaiting your deposit, or waitlisted until further notice) within 5 business days. If you have not heard from us, please call the office! Once successfully registered and have recieved a confirmed email, you will need to complete a 4-H Online yearly enrollment.
All campers must be enrolled in 4-H Online before attending 4-H Junior Camp, but not until after registered via the above Google form.
This enrollment provides required health information, signed consent forms, and other details needed to prepare for camp.
It is recommended that you use personal cell phone numbers and personal/family emails for enrollment. Google Chrome or Firefox are the best browsers to work with it.
Please carefully follow these steps when completing enrollment:
County: Select James City
Youth Status: Choose Joining 4-H (not “participating in an activity only”)
Club: Select 4-H Junior Summer Camp (Unit Club)
Project: Select Personal Development
Medication Forms: Upload a 4-H Event Medication Form only if your child takes daily or prescription medication
Forms are not required for occasional over-the-counter medications (e.g., Tylenol, hydrocortisone); these are available at the 4-H Center.
Health Form: Complete all sections, including:
Dietary restrictions
Last tetanus shot date
Physician name and contact
Health insurance information
Any medical or health conditions
Please respond to all consent items:
Media Release (Can we take pictures/videos of your child?)
Privacy Statement (Your information stays safe with us.)
Code of Conduct (Make sure your child knows the rules & expectations!)
You may see one of the following statuses in 4-H Online:
Incomplete – Your enrollment needs attention
Awaiting Review – Under review by our office; changes may be requested
Approved – No further action needed
Archived – Please email your Extension Agent
If your child is already enrolled for the current 4-H year through another club, your Extension Agent may need to add 4-H Junior Summer Camp to their profile.
If you experience any issues, please review the tip sheets below or contact your Extension Agent as soon as possible.
The Medication Form is required for campers and counselors who will be receiving prescription medication during the camp week. This is not for things like Ibuprofen, Tylenol, allergy medication, or other "over the counter" medicines. Please fill this out and bring it with your medication (if necessary) at camper drop off.
The Equine Waiver is required for all campers and counselors who are interested in joining the Colonial Riders JCC 4-H Horse Club. We do not have Equine forms necessary for 4-H Junior Camp 2025 at Jamestown.
