"Embrace UT PROSIM as a way of life"
Why this website?
First-Year Leadership Experience at Virginia Tech
FLEX is an exclusive first-hand experience Club/Organization at VT programed under New Student and Family Programs. As part of the FLEX curriculum, students are required to complete a Capstone project that either reflects their first-year experience or creates an initiative to help the community.
Tori and Saher chose the second route to create something that'd help brand-new Hokies. As an international student, Saher had a lot of unique experiences in her first year and learned what it's like to live not just on the VT campus, but also in America. As an out-of-state student, Tori could relate with Saher on the issues of getting used to Blacksburg and understanding what it's like to truly be a Virginia Tech student.
Together they set out to create an interactive website that would allow new & international students to find helpful, first-hand information from fellow students.
