Goals & Objectives

Goals:

  • Create a carbon-emission analysis to see where the largest emissions are and where they can be reduced
  • Determine solutions around winery to negate emissions that can't be reduced during wine-making process
  • Reuse emissions from land-clearing and nutrient runoff

Objectives:

  • Create a management plan for GHG neutral emissions by year 10 of operation, and GHG negative emissions by year 30
  • Design a retention pond and/or Hugelkultur for maximum recycling of runoff and greenhouse gases
  • Plan strategic positions and/or infrastructure for solar panels
