If you have any questions on submitting payments for service please contact Margo, margoc@vt.edu
REV:
Recently REV.com changed it’s business processes and will not invoice accounts that fall below the threshold average of $375 per month. Most of the user accounts in ENGE will not meet this criteria (or not consistently), so paying an invoice may no longer be possible by our normal VT process. As a result, I have secured an exception from Procurement so that we may begin paying these accounts using Pcard instead. Going forward, if you receive an invoice, great! please continue to forward those to Margo for payment as usual. If you do not get an invoice but need to pay REV, please reach out to Margo (or Hope in her absence) and she will assist with paying your account obligations with her Pcard. Payment will be required for each upload of files for transcription (if not eligible for invoicing), so where feasible I encourage everyone to do that uploading in batches to reduce the number of payments needed. Here is the basic process to do this:
Upload the files for transcription in REV.com
Connect with Margo (or Hope is she is out) who will be using her Pcard to pay
Login to REV.com and navigate to pay your bill for those files
Uncheck the box that says to store the card info, that is not what we want.
Margo will relay the cc number(s) to you for entry. (doing this in person also works if convenient, but not required)
Before you leave the payment detail screen, print off a copy of the screen showing all the charges. Send/email that to Margo along with the fund(s) we should charge.
If you get a receipt for the payment, also send that to Margo who need that for monthly reconciling.
Next time you need to pay for a batch of transcriptions, start back at the top.
