Research Support and Professional Development Grants

The graduate program regularly budgets for supporting graduate student professional development. Through the Research Support and Professional Development (RSPD)  Program, the Virginia Tech Department of Engineering Education (ENGE) seeks to to support the professional development and scholarly dissemination of work by ENGE graduate students who lack other funding sources for conference travel and related activities. The RSPD program is competitive, with awards made each semester through a structured review process outlined in the RSPD Solicitation provided below.
