Hi there!
My name is Mary Beth Tucker and I am so excited to join the 4th grade team at Voyager Academy Middle School. I grew up in Wilson, North Carolina and graduated from East Carolina University in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education, concentrating in Child Studies.
With over 10 years of teaching experience in multiple elementary grade levels, I am thrilled to be teaching 4th grade math. I believe in building positive relationships to create an environment where students learn and thrive.
I live in Durham with my husband, son (Tripp), and dog (Luna). I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and exercising. I feel honored to be a part of the Voyager family again and can’t wait for a rewarding school year. Go Vikings!
