Sangmi Kim is dedicated to advancing research, community engagement, and practice in social work and allied fields. She has served as a graduate mentor for the NSF IREAAMU REU Summer Program, a peer reviewer for national conferences, and a judge for undergraduate research fairs. Her hands-on experience includes providing mental health support to elderly individuals and participating in international child welfare research initiatives. Through these roles, Sangmi supports inclusive, evidence-based learning and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
