Sangmi Kim’s research has been published in leading journals and explores digital risk, mental health, and social equity among youth. Her work includes conceptual frameworks for mobile-based suicide risk screening, analyses of cyberbullying, adolescent well-being, and the effects of digital environments on vulnerable groups. She is also actively engaged in peer-reviewed manuscripts and interdisciplinary projects spanning AI/ML, energy justice, financial inclusion, and innovative social work practice.
