Second week came around quicker then expected, work becoming more familiar by the day. Learning our routines, getting used to the transportaions of metros and buses, getting quicker at our work tasks. This week while our times of coming to work switches, 8 hour shifts remained as normal. Work tasks also remained similiar, while switching with eachothers.
More small breads this week, more focacco. Usually one line of work would take hours, most days almost split. Half the day folding breads at the breads table, rolling and weiging them- after lunch finding ourselves cutting focaccos, oiling plates. Second week was probably the worst so far pain wise. Our legs hurt and ache, some days our backs as well, Maret discovered a possible flour allergy or some irritation from redness on the hands... but we are strong! The week went by, we survived!
Some foods we ate this week. . . They call us chefs.
On our weekend, we went around the town more, explored some of the spots we had in mind! We may be here mainly for our internship but we are also here to experience the culture, to look around, to explore. This took us to a lighthouse Maret wanted to see! Small but lovable, The Oslo Lighthouse. We walked around it as well and it was a gorgeus waterside walk in general. A nice scenery, pretty archetecture and other artsy pieces.
and to finish off our weekend, we also found ourselves in quite a cool nerd shop, Outland! Outland is quite a dream visit for anyone interested in anime, comics, pokemon, dnd, magic the gathering ect. There's surely something for everyone, a very large store full of many fun francises! It was pretty packed when we visited, but we did go a few other times as well. Don't ask us how much money we collectively spent there.
