What's New in Your Merchant Dashboard
We've been making major improvements to your Merchant Dashboard, and we're excited to share what's new. The biggest update this release is a complete rebuild of the Products Section — redesigned from the ground up to give you better visibility into your catalogue and more control over how your products appear on Vivino. Here's what you'll find:
Pricing Insight Cards — a catalogue-wide summary at the top of the page showing how competitive your prices are across five tiers, from Non-competitive to Competitive
Price Competitiveness per SKU — every product in the table now shows a competitiveness label so you can quickly spot pricing opportunities
Live Search & Faceted Filters — find any product in seconds by name, SKU, wine type, country, region, bottle size, and more
Visibility Toggle — show or hide any product on Vivino instantly, no feed update required
Quick Links — jump directly to your store page or the Vivino product page for any SKU

May 2026 — Important: shipping code delivery method
This month we highlighted a key fulfillment detail to help ensure successful deliveries:
The issue: Many carriers send pickup or delivery codes via email by default. However, the email addresses associated with Vivino orders are system-generated and not accessible by customers, meaning those codes may never reach them.
The fix: Review your carrier settings and configure shipping or pickup codes to be sent via SMS to the customer's local phone number instead.
Suggested actions:
Check your carrier service provider's settings
Confirm whether shipping codes can be delivered via SMS
Update your configuration to prioritize text message delivery where possible
Taking this step will help reduce failed or delayed deliveries and improve the customer experience.
April 2026 — Pricing Insights now available in your Merchant Dashboard
This month we announced the launch of Pricing Insights, a new tool in your Merchant Dashboard to help you compare your prices against the market median and identify opportunities to improve performance:
Buy Button eligibility: Wines priced above 1.30× the market median are not eligible for the Buy Button.
Newsletter visibility: Wines priced above 1.05× the median will not be included in automated Vivino email campaigns.
Priority Score: Highlights wines with strong customer interest where a pricing adjustment could have the biggest impact.
Daily updates: Pricing data and demand signals refresh every day.
Where to find it: Log in to your Merchant Dashboard → Dashboard → Pricing.

March 2026 — Handling wrong or incorrect item deliveries
This month we clarified how wrong-wine claims are managed across the Vivino Marketplace, ensuring aligned expectations for both merchants and customers:
Not standard returns: When a customer receives the wrong bottle, vintage, or product, these cases are treated as non-conforming goods claims, not regular returns.
Consumer protection laws apply: Claims are assessed per Vivino's policies and local regulations, which may vary by market.
Delayed claims are valid: Since wine is often bought for gifting or cellaring, a delayed discovery does not automatically invalidate a claim, as long as it is submitted within a reasonable time after the issue is found.
How claims are verified: Customers may be asked for photo evidence. If a fulfillment error is confirmed, a refund or replacement may be provided depending on the circumstances.
Merchant responsibility: The party responsible for packing and fulfilling the order is generally responsible for resolving the claim. Claims may be declined if evidence shows the correct item was delivered.

Keep best wines available: Prioritize stock availability on your highest-traffic and best-selling wines to avoid missed sales.

Maintain quality product content: Accurate listings with correct vintages, detailed info, and good images build trust and improve conversion.
Focus where it matters most: Concentrate effort on your most viewed and in-demand products rather than spreading it evenly.
