Pricing Insights is a new view in Vivino Analytics designed to help you understand how your prices compare within the Vivino marketplace, and where small adjustments may lead to better performance.
Pricing Insights shows where your prices sit relative to other merchants selling the same wine.
It helps you see:
Where your pricing is already competitive
Where there may be room to improve
Which wines have strong customer interest
For every wine, we compare your price to the median market price.
The median is not the highest or the lowest price
It’s the middle value across all observed offers
This allows you to quickly understand whether you are above, at, or below the midpoint of the market.
The Priority Score combines two key signals:
How your price compares to the median
Customer demand, measured through pageviews in the last 90 days
A higher Priority Score generally means:
Your price may be less competitive
The wine receives strong customer attention
Adjustments could make a visible impact
This score helps highlight where pricing changes may deliver the most benefit.
Use it to:
Prioritize which wines to review first
Improve competitiveness in high-demand areas
Make pricing decisions based on data, not intuition
Download and analyze your pricing across your business channels

No. You always set and control your prices.
Competitive pricing can support discoverability and conversion, but the tool itself does not enforce ranking changes.
Not necessarily. You may want to review only a subset of SKUs based on margin, stock, and strategy, but remember that these are opportunities to potentially increase sales.
Yes, your Merchant Development Manager can help interpret your results.
Pricing Insights refreshes daily.
All pricing and demand data is updated every 24 hours based on live marketplace activity.
The pricing comparison is based on live prices on the Vivino platform.
When the dashboard refreshes, it uses the price currently listed for each SKU, including promotions or discounts.
Yes.
If a wine is on promotion at the moment the dashboard refreshes, the discounted price is the one used to calculate the median comparison.
Pageviews are country-specific.
Demand signals are measured based on the country where the wine is listed and viewed, ensuring relevance to your selling market.
If there is only one active offer on Vivino, the system compares your price against an external median price in the same country.
This ensures that even unique or niche wines still receive a meaningful comparison.
Only indirectly.
Pricing Insights does not actively change placement or ranking, but improving competitiveness may help with visibility and conversion over time.
There is no automated ranking penalty or boost applied.
Not at this time.
Our reporting does not support full-page export for merchant users, so tiles must be downloaded one at a time.
