All the books may not be available on the shelf as many of them might have been borrowed by other members. To see a complete list of books on a particular subject one should look at the library catalogue. 

The Library catalogue can be used for checking particular titles by author’s name, title or keyword, and to find out the status of any document. 

The Library catalogue is computerized and  is available on world wide web (WWW). Assistance in searching the catalogue or locating books is available from the help desk.
