Introduction
The Be In Health system is a smart space that assists in managing a space and presenting health diagnosis results to clients
Design Challenge
Be In Health is a health consultation business that uses a machine called Scio. Through connecting the user to a series of sensors which detects vibrations and energy waves within the human body. This method can indicate possible diseases and irregularities within the human body through the use of electric pulses. When the problem areas are identified, a series of medicines can be prescribed to the client.
Design Frame and Solution
Problem
Keeping track of client history and past therapy sessions proves to be unsuccessful. Manda is unable to efficiently keep track of past sessions and products. Furthermore she finds it difficult to explain/show the user what the system is telling her in a easily digested way due to the over complicated nature of the current program.
Design Question
How might we streamline and improve the client feedback experience in order to ensure efficient tracking of past therapy sessions and product recommendations?
Solution
A comprehensive and user friendly health consultation system that allows for tracking and book keeping of previous session for each user. Furthermore a system which can display and curate the results to the client in a understandable manner.
Design Process
Persona
About
Manda is a 60 year old health consultant who assists people in locating possible health problems. She runs a business from her home office where she sells products and assists clients through a sensor driven device in order to pinpoint possible health issues
User Problem
Keeping track of client history and past therapy sessions proves to be unsuccessful. Manda is unable to efficiently keep track of past sessions and products. Furthermore she finds it difficult to explain/show the user what the system is telling her in a easily digested way due to the over complicated nature of the current program.
Space Analysis
To get a better idea of how the space currently functions and to indicate possible problem areas that can be solved a user flow was created of a appointment at the Be In Health home office. This process indicates employee actions and client actions.
Technology Curation
The technology curation phase included research on existing spaces and case studies to gain insight on how the Be In Health system could be curated. Possible technologies were also included into the technology curation.
Storyboarding
Storyboarding served as a first draft for the final space curation video. The storyboards included the technologies that are going to be implemented into the system as well as curating how the space will work and be used be the people within the system.
Demo Walk Through
The demo walk through showcased the space and the implemented smart technology. This created a clear story line of a appointment at the Be In Health Business and the interactions within the smart space.

Conclusion
This project highlighted the importance of designing a smart space and how to plan out the process in a logical manner. Curating the project was interesting and proved to be a challenge.
When looking at the problems within the persona and the final solution provided in the video curation, there is a clear assistance and ease of use within the space. This overall process indicated the importance of designing for a physical space
