We will start our monumental day at the river by exploring two of its most famous sites: Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
Listen to your travel companions as they tour you around these emblematic monuments and then complete the activity trail at the Tower of London. Please submit one completed activity trail document per group to your corresponding group teacher at the end of the visit.

Today we are going to visit Borough Market which has existed for over 1000 years at the south end of London Bridge. As you will see, it sells many different types of speciality foods from all over the world. It is a very fashionable place to buy food and has appeared in various movies including Bridget Jones’ Diary, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

During your lunch break today you can explore the market and will have £5 each to spend on some food. Try something new that you’ve never had before, perhaps from a different country and EITHER:
A) take a photo of yourself with the product & write a brief description about it on THE PADLET.
B) Make a short video of you trying the new food and describe your feelings about it to the camera. Then upload yor video to THE PADLET.
