Create a fake news story about one of the celebrities in Madame Tussauds. Each of you in the group will play the role of a character in this video news report (see below) and give your point of view on what happened:
- A reporter
- Another person involved in the scandal with the celebrity
- The celebrity’s representative speaking on their behalf - defending them / saying why the story is fake.
- An eye witness (who saw what happened) and / or a friend of the celebrity.
Upload your final videos to the classroom.
Today we are going to visit Camden Market. The market first opened in 1974; with only a few stalls next to the Regent’s Canal. Camden Market soon grew, thanks to the Roundhouse Theatre and nearby pubs hosting music gigs and attracting young people interested in music and fashion. Now the market has over 1000 places to shop, eat, drink and dance! There is always a lively atmosphere in the market, and it’s always busy; so be careful not to get lost.
As you explore the market, try to find and collect evidence such as: photos (with you in them!), leaflets, cards etc….. of the things listed below. The group which finds the most is the winner! There will be a prize for the winning group.
