As the statewide professional association for all nurse practitioners licensed in Virginia, the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP) is pleased to be an exhibitor at this year’s VNA Legislative Summit. VCNP is actively involved in the advancement of NPs through our advocacy efforts and partnerships with nursing and other advanced practice provider groups in Virginia. We are proud of several recent legislative accomplishments including HB 793, which eliminated the practice agreement requirement for NPs who have at least five years of clinical experience, and HB 1640, which ensures NPs are able to bill insurance directly for provided services.
Our membership includes professional, retired and NP student levels. To learn more about NPs and our advocacy efforts, visit our virtual exhibit or vcnp.net.
