Nicole Bonino 

Nicole is Assistant Professor of Spanish and Italian (Academic General Faculty) at University of Virginia. She was born and raised in Italy, but she has been studying, living, and working in the Unites Stated since 2014. She works under the umbrella of global mobility investigating the ways in which art intertwines with activism to discuss global intersectional issues related to the socio-cultural legacy of enforced and spontaneous migratory and diasporic movements.
