This project is intended to imagine an Olympic Dream Squad made up of the top players from each country in the tournament. Soccer is a beautiful game with the capacity to unite entire national identities...so why not unite all 12 competing national identities on one quintessential "Olympic Dream Squad"?

Union of European Football Association Women's

Spain will be competing in their first ever Olympic Games

Germany has competed in 5/7 Olympic Games, winning 3 Bronze medals and 1 Gold

COPA AMERICA FEMENINA TEAMS

South American Women's Football Federation

Brazil has competed in every Olympic games and has 2 Silver medals.

This will be Colombia's 3rd Olympic games.

AFC W TEAMS

Asian Football Confederation Women's 

Japan comes in with 2 Silver and 2 Gold Medals 

Known as the Matildas, Australia has qualified 4 times but has never won

CONCACAF W TEAMS

Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football Women's 

The United States are the leaders in the Olympic games, having won 4 Gold Medals.

Canada is the reigning Champion of the Olympics, having won Gold in 2020.

CAF W TEAMS

Nigeria's fourth Olympic appearance and the most successful national team in African, having won 11 Women's African Cup of Nations

This is Zambia's second appearance in the Olympics

Oceania Football Confederation Women's

This will be the 5th Olympic appearance for New Zealand

HOST COUNTRY

This will be France's 3rd Olympic appearance, and they will be hosting the Olympic games this year, after previously hosting the Women's World Cup in 2019.
