At a Glance

1. Pitch – Contributor proposes exhibit idea. This includes describing the exhibit and its significance, and outlining the exhibit's sections and featured documents.

2. Exhibit Framing – Our content development team reviews your pitch and meets with you to refine your topic, scope, and framing.

3. Writing – Contributor drafts the exhibit text.

4. Content Review & Rewriting – Our content development team reviews your exhibit text and suggests interactive features to enhance it. The team will provide recommendations for making the exhibit tone more engaging.

5. Revisions – Contributor revises written content.

6. Copyediting – Our content development team breaks content into web-friendly sections, refines section transitions, and generally revises text for tone and reading level.

7. Final Approval – Contributor signs off on copy-edited text.

8. Drupal Implementation – Our web team builds out the exhibit.

9. Publication – Exhibit goes live on the forgingUS site.
