Women Heroes of World War II

Calling all 1st through 4th grade girls who love math 

Join us to be inspired by Women Heroes of World War II as you participate in fun, math-focused activities created and led by Village School students and teachers. Encourage your daughter’s interest in mathematics through hands-on encounters with math and by helping her find role models in older girls who also love math.

A session sign-up link will be sent to registered participants the week prior to the event where girls will choose three half-hour sessions to attend. Arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 to tour the school and mingle over coffee and snacks.

Village School is located in the heart of Downtown Charlottesville at 215 East High Street, between 2nd and 3rd Street. Please allow time to find legal parking on the street or in nearby parking garages.
