Hello! My name is Dixie See! I have the pleasure of being Waterloo Elementary's Title I teacher this year! I'm incredibly excited to join the Waterloo family and look forward to making a positive impact on our students and school community! GO VIKES!
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Indiana Tech, a Master’s Degree in Early Elementary Education PreK–3 and a 4/5 Grade Endorsement from John Carroll University and I am 1 year from completing my Gifted Intervention K12 Specialist Certification. I have 5 years of teaching experience. For two years, I was a gifted intervention specialist at Black River Elementary and provided enrichment to second, third, and fourth grade gifted students in math and language arts. For the last three years, I taught fourth and fifth grade.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband Ben and our three kids, Kaden, Kylie, and Antonio. All of our kids are in college, so most of my days are spent on our boat, traveling to see family, tending to flowerbeds, creating art, and volunteering.
