I. Dolphin Awarness program:
As a Part of “Project Dolphin”, announced by Prime Minister of India and Initiated by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change ,National Museum of Natural History, Government of India, various awareness activities were organised by staff members of Department of Zoology, under the guidance of Dr.D.Gladis, Principal, Bharathi Women’s College. In this regard , about 300 Students of various departments were assembled in Virtual Hall, Bharathi Women’s College on 21/07/25 at 10:30 am and a screening Dolphin awareness video was done followed by a Pledge to save dolphins. Students actively engaged in preparing placards containing slogans to save dolphins.This is followed by an Awareness Rally where students marched outside the campus carrying placards about dolphin conservation. They emphasised the need to protect dolphins to the common public. There was an enthusiastic response among the public and it provided an impactful awareness event to the people for Dolphin conservation.
