Wootton & District

Wootton is a District in the Otak Country alongside Darent Valley and Malarchetts, towns and cities inspired of Cypriot towns. 

Originally the game was used as a "test map" which had seen the improving in map building skills, a public server had seen quite a few playing it which had encouraged expansions and introductions of operators over time. The first edition was dropped after technical faults in game which led to delays in functions activated, the second version was confirmed to be going but then cancelled considering the sheer size and loss of motivation of the developers to do this.

History:

Wootton became the first operation as it became the start for an improvement in map making, it was first created on the 3rd of May 2020 (roughly a month after Valley Buses opened). Wootton V1 was short lived as it closed on the 7th of July in the same year. On 21 January 2021, the Wootton server was renamed Lee & District Simulator V2, a reference to a game that existed in the era of NPT but never opened. On 16 May 2021, the server was renamed back to Wootton which hinted its comeback.

The first hint of Wootton 2 came on 18 May 2021, however there are not many previews of the game at all as one small area (Darnley Arch Station) was done and the last update was on 5 August 2022 mentioning changes in route contracts and coming under the Otak Country series.

Wootton V1 had reached 390 visits prior to closing making it the most visted OCGH operation surpassing DVaW's 183 visits.
