By accessing or using Blink, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Blink is strictly restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use this App.
We collect information that you provide directly to us, information collected automatically, and information from third-party services.
A. Information You Provide to Us
Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your email address.
User Profile and Content: We collect the profile information you choose to provide, including your username, bio, and profile images. C. Third-Party SDKs and Data Collection
We integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs) to provide core features and analyze app performance.
Firebase (Google LLC): We use Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, authentication, and database management. Firebase may collect device identifiers, usage data, and other technical information governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Push Notifications: We use service providers to deliver push notifications to your device to alert you of new messages, video interactions, and account updates. You can manage notification preferences via your device settings.

Camera/Photo Album Native Permissions: We do not request persistent system-level permissions to access your full media library or camera background state; any upload of pictures or videos is strictly initiated and approved via user-selected standard file pickers or interface intents within the operating system.
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
To provide, maintain, and improve the core functionalities of Blink (including the short-video feed and instant messaging/chat services).
To manage your account, verify your identity, and process your subscription plan payments.

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
With Other Users: Your public profile information, uploaded short videos, and public comments are visible to other users of the App. Direct messages, voice clips, and images shared in chats are visible to the specific recipient.
Service Providers: We share data with third-party vendors (such as Firebase and payment processors) who perform operational services on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
Legal Compliance and Safety: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our users, prevent the exploitation of minors, or address security or technical vulnerabilities.
