Internal issues refer to Zelo's strengths and weaknesses which set it apart or make it vulnerable in the industry. All strengths must be treated as opportunities and harnessed, while weaknesses must be treated as risks. Each risk must be assessed and mitigation actions planned to treat risks.

External issues refer to Zelo's outside influences which present opportunities or threats that must be addressed.
