Aspects are various outputs of our processes that come in contact with the environment and that can cause an environmental impact - As a responsible organisation, Zelo has identified and continually reviews its environmental aspects in order to assess them and develop mitigation measures to address them. Where a client's Environmental Aspects Identification and Assessment equals to or supersedes Zelo's, we adapt to the client's own system.
Hazards are activities, situations or indeed anything that has the potential to cause harm, injury or ill-health. Zelo has established a process for timely identification and assessment of hazards, unsafe conditions or unsafe acts in all its operations. The process of hazards Identification is ongoing.
Risk is the probability, likelihood or chance that an unwanted event may occur and the consequence, severity or impact(s) of the event. Risk rating = Probability (likelihood or Chance) X Severity (Consequence or Impact). Zelo's risk assessment methodology generally follows the Zelo's Risk Categorisation criteria.
