Students journey through the inquiry process focussing on the national and global community. We want students to be engaged as drive their critical thinking through the inquiry process to ask effective framing questions in order to refine and extend their thinking. Coding, QR Codes, HPReveal (Aurasma), Metaverse App and various google apps enables students to link to shared peer documents within Google Classroom that have been co-constructed from beginning to published tasks. An interactive walls, bulletin or display boards will provide opportunities for others to view student growth, questioning and reflections by embedding digital content onto a 2-dimensional surface. Students develop a stronger sense of ownership as their learning is shared with a wider audience.

Student Voice:

ePortfolios with Google Sites

Creating a pathway to success needs to be a part of classroom culture that provides opportunities and time in class for students to reflect on their learning. ePortfolio using New Google Sites takes this path in an online digital environment that is organized, interactive and easy to build upon with access to students’ Google Drive. Students have the opportunities to develop skills to organize their own materials online, reflect on their own learning, set goals and plan accordingly. Student learning becomes transparent as they value assessment as learning, and self-monitoring.
