Donate Zakah or Saqadah

**In the notes of the e-transfer please indicate if this is zakah or sadaqah.**

Please also include your name and email address in the notes if you would like to receive a confirmation email from us.

Zakah: Alhumdolilah all the zakah that is donated to YYCGenerosity is directly distributed to zakah eligible families in need within the month that the zakah is donated. We pass on this amanah (trust) to it's rightful owner as soon as we can and in monetary form as per islamic teaching.

Sadaqah: Alhumdolilah the sadaqah that you provide us is either used for groceries or any specific items requested by the families.

Other sadaqah such as that for particular items such as in the case of buying a washing machine for the Masjid or for purchasing laptops for families in need is requested to be mentioned by purpose in the e-transfer notes.
