About us

YYCGenerosity is an outreach program geared towards supporting vulnerable families in Calgary with food, clothing, furniture, tutoring, resume review and a whole lot more In Shaa Allah.

YYCGenerosity aims to provide our brothers and sisters in need with what we would want for ourselves and our own families. So our focus is on acquiring items for these families by reaching out to the community for donations of either new or gently used items in order to benefit from the barakah there is in working together and spreading the blessings by collectively striving to please Allah Subhana wa ta'aala.

We love working with others to benefit the community and have partnered with organizations around the city.

In order to further benefit the community we have initiated projects that focus on the whole community: Connecting the elders and youth of our community, partnered with the SW Masjid and Akram Jomaa.

To reach those in need overseas, we have partnered with the International Organization of SOS, specifically the Johar Town branch in Lahore, Pakistan to tutor children who do not have anywhere else to go.
