Hello, I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Biomedical Mathematics Group at the Institute for Basic Science, working under the mentorship of Prof. Jae Kyoung Kim. I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at KAIST.
My research integrates mathematics, statistics, AI, pharmacology, and medicine to address complex biological and clinical challenges. I study the theoretical foundations of model reduction and improve pharmacokinetic modeling, while also analyzing wearable and multimodal data through the fusion of data-driven and mechanistic models. This dual approach enables disease prediction, early detection, and insights into sleep/activity patterns, with the ultimate goal of developing personalized digital health interventions that bridge fundamental science and practical healthcare.
