Hello, I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Biomedical Mathematics Group at the Institute for Basic Science, working under the mentorship of Prof. Jae Kyoung Kim. I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at KAIST.
I leverage mathematical, statistical, and AI-driven approaches to tackle complex biomedical challenges, ranging from model reduction in biochemical networks to advancing pharmacokinetic modeling. I integrate data from wearable devices with mechanistic modeling and deep learning to investigate how sleep and activity patterns influence health, cognition, and sleep disorders. My long-term goal is to develop personalized digital interventions, including mobile platforms designed for clinical trials involving shift workers. By bridging rigorous theoretical frameworks with real-world applications, my work contributes to both foundational science and translational healthcare.
