For Prospective Students

This is a page for the guidance for international students.
Our lab very welcomes international students for both Masters course and PhD course.
Firstly, please check which case applies to you.

Case 1: If you want to enter Master's course by International Graduate Program (IGP), please continue reading below.

Case 2: If you use Japanese, if you live in Japan, or if you do not (or cannot) apply to IGP, please move to "入学・進学希望者へ."

Case 3: If you have (or will get) Master's degree and want to enter PhD course, please move to "入学・進学希望者へ." That page is written in Japanese, so please use translation tools to read.

Case 4: If you want to enter our graduate school by using "MEXT scholarship with Embassy Recommendation," please continue reading below. (Requirement is almost same with IGP-C, but required level of university ranking is mitigated. If your graduated university is top level in your country, and if your GPA is very high, you may have a chance.)

Guidance for IGP applicants

Firstly, I state important points.

* Please see the website of Tokyo Tech's programs for international students. https://www.titech.ac.jp/english/admissions/prospective-students/graduate-programs/igp
* We can accept applicants of IGP (A) and IGP (C).
* We accept only high-scoring students in (or graduated from) Top level universities. Top level universities are like Overseas Partner Universities of Tokyo Tech or equivalent universities. Please see https://www.titech.ac.jp/english/global/collaborations/wide.
* If you are not a high-scoring student or are in (or graduated from) non-Top level universities, you can challenge the general entrance exam of the general program of our department, not IGP.
* IGP (A) assumes integrated program between Masters and PhD courses.
* Students in (or graduated from) universities in Japan cannot apply IGP.

If you want to join our lab by IGP, please contact to the Associate Professor Yuki Inoue by E-mail (inoue.y.az【at_mark】m.titech.ac.jp).
