Requesting a Letter of Recommendation: Instructions
If you would like me to write recommendation letters for you, please provide the following through email:
(1) Your transcript (digital file) for my reference.
(2) Remind me which course(s) you have taken from me (in which semester), and the titles of the presentations/papers/projects you submitted to me for the course.
(3) Optional: If you have taken part in any national or international conferences, and/or you have won an award for the project/paper.
(4) Your revised resumé, SOP, and/or autobiography (if any) you will submit as your materials to the school(s)
(5) The list of departments and schools you will apply.
List their mailing addresses for me so I could put them on the upper left corner of the letters.
(6) The due date(s) of the recommendation letters.
(7) Tell me if I should upload the letter to the online link the school(s) will send to me, or if you need me to print out and sign it for you.
