YANKEE POINT YACHT CLUB
Members enjoy day trips, weekend overnight, treasure hunts and raft-ups in order to enjoy some time on the water together in a relaxed manner.
UPDATE: Seems like most of our boats are not quite out of their winter hibernation so....
Saturday - Sail or drive to Urbanna, dock or anchor or park and walk to lunch at 1:00 pm at Something Different
Day 1, Thursday June 18: sail to Mill Creek and anchor. This is a long day sailing. An alternative would be to depart on Wednesday and stop midway.
Day 2, Friday June 19: sail to Norfolk to view the “Sail250” tall ships as the fleet heads up the James and Elizabeth River to Norfolk. The first tall ship in the Parade will pass Old Point Comfort at 10:15 am. In the afternoon sail to Salt Ponds Marina.
Day 3, Saturday June 20: relax at Salt Ponds pool and beach (saltpondsmarinaresort.com).
