This web site was designed to be a flexible guide and support network for facilitators and youth who are conducting action research in order to create social change. This site is produced and maintained as a collaboration between pediatric residents at UCSF and numerous community partners in the SF Bay Area.
Any YPAR project has some essential components. However, we recognize that every YPAR group has different time constraints, classroom needs, and youth priorities. We have broken down YPAR into its fundamental parts so that youth and facilitators can select the activities most appropriate for their group and extend or compact each lesson to meet their timeline.
