The "sevillanas" are a typical andalusian dance and sing of Seville, Huelva and other provinces of Andalusia.

It is usually dance with a dress with ruffles or a jersey and a skirt and heels. Its origin would be in the years prior to the time of the Catholic Monarchs (1474-1516), in some compositions that were known as "seguidillas Castellanas". They were created in 1847. With time they evolved and they went aflamencando, adding the dance in century XVIII until arriving at the cantes and dances whereupon they are named at the moment.
