This section hosts our Young Translators Club podcast collection. Club members learned about interviewing methods and decided to record podcasts about each other's translating experiences. Our young people talked about how 'good' it feels when helping others and caring for them in different situations (home, school and community). They also shared experiences of feeling disconnected, picked on and bullied because they spoke a different language. For some, having an accent or mispronouncing certain words led to negative comments and even direct racism. Hence, they wrote up the questions they felt were important to ask when reflecting on what it means and feels-like, to be a young translator.

This club member explained that learning a new language can be difficult but gets easier with time.
