The members of the Youngsville Museum of History/Youngsville Woman's Club are grateful to have known the following Franklin County authors who have contributed their time and talents in order to record and preserve segments of Franklin County history for our families and future generations. 

• Mrs. R.E. Cheatham was a charter member of the Youngsville Woman's Club, a historian, genealogist and author of                    "Sketches of Youngsville and Pacific".

• Mrs. Diane Taylor Torrent is a board member of the Heritage Society of Franklin County, a genealogist for over 30 years and author of "Images of Franklin County."

• Mr. John Binkley worked for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) - Federal Agent (Retired).  Mr. Binkley is the author of "Moonshiners and Revenuers", an intriguing look into the history of the illegal moonshine industry in North Carolina.
