The Young Explorers 4-H Club is a free co-op style 4-H club for Bennington-area youth ages 6-12. Members discover new things and make friends. Our purpose is to use the principles and resources of 4-H to build members' strengths, exhibit growth, and have fun! The club welcomes new members.
Project Areas
Farm visits, gardening, and chicken raising are among the fun farm-related projects Young Explorers have done.
Young Explorers love to get together to make things, including holiday ornaments and pom-pom pets!
Let's get baking! Young Explorers have made pizza and pies together!
Our favorite things to do involve getting outside. We have hiked several local trails!
Learning about technology is super fun. We have built circuits, Lego robots, and junk creatures.
We have represented the Young Explorers at events and done community service.
"I am so glad we found this group. It's been really fun! "

The 4-H motto is "to make the best better." 4-Hers track their progress in three major ways.
4-Hers assemble fun and interesting record books to show what they have done and learned.
Some 4-Hers share their independent projects with the group during presentations.
4-Hers choose to exhibit their independent or group projects during Regional Day or State Fair.
