Using fish traits to predict effectiveness as YLM hosts

In order to better understand suitable host fishes for Yellow Lampmussel, lab-based host trials were conducted with 24 different fish species that span eight families. Models were used to understand how traits associated with those fish may affect their effectiveness as a host.
