We love solar photovoltaic (PV) and renewable energies. However, they also make much trouble. That is, it calls for grid-friendly technologies to expand the Grid Integration of renewable energy systems and to continuously reduce cost and improve efficiency.
Technologies are transitioning. Although a lot of basics are actually sufficient to tackle the common-seen challenges, we expect more. In this context, power electronics is not a solely subject, but has to become Multi- and Interdisciplinary.
