The Pintados Festival was an absolute blast on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Open Field of EVSU!
Organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Society, Alpha Phi Omega Philippines, Industrial Technology Student Organization, Students Organization of Sports and Physical Education, and TECHVOCEDU Society, this vibrant event brought students from various programs together for dazzling Pintados dances and thrilling games like Paint War and Dizzy Dictionary. Laughter and cheers filled the air as students had the time of their lives!
Students had a riot, laughing and cheering through every moment! Congrats to our winners. Pure fun and unforgettable memories!

The expo was inaugurated with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Dean Rose Anna Refuerzo and VP Dr. Benedicto Militante Jr. We also extend our gratitude to Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) Adviser John Manuel Catuday for his presence and support, marking the beginning of this exciting event. It’s a fantastic opportunity to witness firsthand the entrepreneurial spirit and academic excellence that EVSU fosters.

𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦!
On August 14, 2025, the Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) of EVSU Main Campus hosted its Induction and Turnover Ceremony at NCB Function Hall 2. The event, themed "Magnifying Impact: Passing the Legacy of True Leadership," marked the formal transition of leadership.
The previous administration successfully transferred all requisite financial files and funds. This included the turnover from the outgoing Treasurer, Ms. Marnette Constantino, to the newly elected Treasurer, Ms. Marina Rama.
Attendees included Ms. Jesalyn Martinez, the former President; Ms. Margiel Talledo, the newly elected President, YES Executive Board, YES officers and BSE Class Officers. One of the highlight of the ceremony was the insightful address by guest speakers Ms. Mylyn Veloso Longjas and Mr. Merlito Claros, who shared actionable strategies on leveraging connections as leaders. Professor John Manuel Gloria Catuday, the organization Adviser, also witnessed the event.
The ceremony served as an important occasion to formally mark the transition of leadership, facilitate the sharing of valuable insights and experiences from the previous administration, and recognize the guidance of the esteemed adviser. Furthermore, it showcased the organization's commitment to transparency and the pursuit of excellence within the Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES).

Freshmen connect with their new academic home during the USWAG Orientation and Campus Tour!
On August 11, 2025, Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) held the USWAG Orientation and Campus Tour, an event designed to integrate incoming freshmen from the College of Business and Entrepreneurship (COBE) and the College of Education (COED) into the university's academic community.
The program included detailed introductions to each college’s facilities, such as interactive classrooms, the university cafeteria, library resources, and designated open areas, to help students familiarize themselves with their new academic environment.
The university recognizes the significant contributions of the EVSU Supreme Student Government and Federation of Junior Marketing Association (FJMA), the Philippine Association of Students in Office Administration (PASOA), and the Young Entrepreneur Society (YES) in ensuring the successful execution of this event.

On Tuesday, June 24th, incoming freshmen from the College of Architecture and Allied Disciplines (CAAD) and the College of Business and Entrepreneurship (COBE) participated in a Free Higher Education (FHE) orientation at the EVSU Inner Court.
The orientation highlighted the benefits and importance of the FHE program. The session covered the online enrollment process and FHE application procedures, and ensured students understood the necessary enrollment steps, required documents, and available support services.
