The 3rd Year students of the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship successfully culminated their Pinning and Coating Ceremony in preparation for the commencement of their "Intern-preneurship" or their On-the-Job Training (OJT).

The ceremony was held on June 21 at the Miguel Romualdez Memorial Auditorium of the EVSU Main Campus. It was attended by the students, their parents and guardians, Head of the Entrepreneurship Department Prof. Darwin G. Navarrosa, Head of the Accountancy Department Prof. Jeremy Ragot, Head of the Office Administration Department Dr. Melane Aguilar, and Entrepreneurship Faculty Prof. John Manuel G. Catuday.

A BSE alumnus and successful entrepreneur, Mr. Gerard Paner, also graced the event as the ceremony's esteemed guest speaker.

𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝘁𝗼? 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗣! | 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜, 𝙆𝙖-𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙥!, the annual general assembly organized by the YES organization for the entire BSE program, was successfully and remarkably concluded on January 28, 2025 at the EVSU Miguel Romualdez Memorial Auditorium.

The event featured the notable presence and inspiring messages of the Director of SASO, Dr. Sonia T. Enrile; the Head of the Entrepreneurship Department, Darwin G. Navarrosa; and esteemed faculty members from the Entrepreneurship Department.

With the theme "𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘐𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸'𝘴 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘛𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺," the event aimed to empower students, foster leadership skills, and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset.

This activity also highlighted the introduction of the YES Officers and their teams, along with their roles in serving as a governing body for the Entrepreneurship department.

Also, as part of this esteemed event, a special Awarding Ceremony was held to recognize the outstanding students of the BSE program who have excelled in various university-wide and inter-university competitions. This recognition was given not only for excellence but also for their dedication and participation in representing the name of the BSE program with pride.

The Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) Organization at the Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) Main recently organized a small but deeply meaningful outreach program and charitable gift-giving event at an orphanage and a home for the elderly.

𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒖𝒎𝒑𝒉𝒔! — 𝗦𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. 

The Business Proposal Competition culminated in resounding success, highlighting exceptional talent and innovation from diverse groups and individuals of the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship who presented their creative and ingenious proposals. Warmest congratulations to every participant for their outstanding contributions and presentations.

Special recognition and many thanks to our esteemed panelists, Prof. Darwin G. Navarrosa, MPRM; Prof. Neko G. Tejones, MSA-MA, CPA; and Atty. Edgardo B. Esperas, Jr., for their invaluable insights and commitment to fostering excellence and greater knowledge in this endeavor. Your dedication has truly elevated the event to new heights.

The College of Business and Entrepreneurship kick started the Business Month Celebration with the Product Exposition of the BS in Entrepreneurship students. With a theme embracing the Filipino traditional way of selling and marketing, the event was aptly named "𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒚𝒐 𝑵𝒆𝒈𝒐𝒔𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒔."

The event was inaugurated with the ceremonial ribbon-cutting that signified the opening of the exhibition. It was a moment of immense pride and excitement as we welcomed the distinguished gathering of attendees, including the faculty members, the esteemed Dean of College of Business and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Rose Anna L. Refuerzo, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Lydia M. Morante, together with the honored guests, Ms. Machica Tan Cruz and Deskanso F&B Group representative, Ms. May Ann Rose M. Camulte, who graced the occasion with their presence.

Product Exposition is not merely an exhibition; it is a celebration of innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and the immense potential that our fellow students carry with them.

Freshmen students from the Entrepreneurship program gathered today, August 14, at the New COBE Building Function Room to take part in the orientation of the benefits and importance of the Free Higher Education (FHE) and necessary information about their Certificate of Registration (COR).

The said event was instigated by one of the Entrepreneurship Instructors, Prof. John Manuel G. Catuday and it was formally conducted by the Department Head, Prof. Darwin G. Navarrosa.
