Q: Wow, this is super expensive. Can't you lower your price?
A: Fursuits are luxury! They are made with high-quality and high-priced fake fur. Manufacturers set up prices, and time to time they raise these, so do we. All these suits are handcrafted with care and dedication, so you don't only pay for the item but the craftsmanship put into it too.
Q: What do you make at Yeenbug Studio?
A: I create custom fursuit parts and accessories, including fursuit heads, paws, tails, and ear headbands. In addition to canvas paintings, digital art, and other crafts.
Q: Do you accept commissions from minors?
A: Sadly, no. I don't accept fursuit commissions from them, nor from a parent of the minor. Why? Because it may be just a flare, and they will literally outgrow the suit. These are not cheap costumes. For this, I offer face-only masks, ear headbands, a smaller but same quality costumes to enjoy at conventions.
Q: Do you take full fursuit commissions?
A: At the moment, I primarily focus on partial fursuits and accessories. If I ever open for full suits, I’ll announce it on my social media.
Q: How can I order a commission?
A: When commissions are open, you can fill out a commission form (linked on the Commissions page). I’ll review your request and let you know if I can take on your project.
Q: How long does it take to complete a commission?
A: Turnaround times vary depending on complexity and my current queue. Smaller items like ear headbands take a few weeks, while fursuit heads can take several months. As an adult with a full-time job, this maker business is heavily a hobby business in my spare time.
Q: I'm allergic to animals.
A: As of now, the home is pet-free. But in the future, there's a plan to adopt a dog.
Q: I have xy special needs. Can I still commission?
A: Let me know in the form if you require something special, and we'll discuss if we can accommodate. Never did anything like these, but we can always try.
Q: Do you make for NSFW usage?
A: Absolutely NO.
Q: Can you make a fursuit of a copyrighted character?
A: No, I do not make suits of trademarked or copyrighted characters. I only create original designs or characters you own.
Q: What kind of faux fur do you use?
A: I source high-quality faux fur in Europe and do my best to match reference images. Some colors may be limited due to availability.
Q: Do you work with all species?
A: I take on most existing animal species. There are some species I don't work such as dutchies, sergals, protogens...
Q: Do you work to deadlines?
A: No, it can't be and won't do rush orders either. Maily due to limited time to work on fursuits (work and personal life matter). I do offer a rough ETA like "June" or "around summer".
Q: What do i get with my commission?
A: You get the fursuit for sure! In addition, a laminated badge with a chosen name, digital reference sheet (if the design doesn't have a full-body design, you can choose to be made or leave it a partial design), and little goodie(s).
Q: How much do your commissions cost?
A: Prices vary depending on complexity. You can find a detailed price list on the Prices page.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes! I require a non-refundable deposit upfront, and the remaining balance can be split into payments. Full payment is required before the finished product is shipped.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: I accept PayPal and bank transfer. Specific details will be provided when your commission is accepted.
Q: Do you accept refunds or cancellations?
A: Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel after work has started, refunds may be partial depending on progress. Full details can be found in my Terms of Service.
Q: How do I clean my fursuit?
A: I have a full cleaning guide available, but in general:
Foam heads: Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; never submerge in water.
3D-printed heads: Wipe with a damp cloth; avoid soaking any glued parts.
Other parts (tails, paws, etc.): Most can be (no heat) machine-washed and air-dried.
Q: How should I store my fursuit?
A: Keep it in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight and humid environments. Hanging or placing it in a breathable storage bin is best.
Q: Any more tips?
A: YouTube videos. Search for "fursuit cleaning tutorial" and check on other makers. All suits are different, so are their cleaning. The general rule is to avoid heat, as the fur is plastic and will melt.
Q: Is shipping included in the price?
A: No. The shipping price depends on the box's weight, dimensions, and your location.
Q: Do you ship to the US?
A: Yes, but the additional customs clearance is on the customer. I'm from the EU, so shipping outside of these countries will always have an additional cost.
Q: What happens if my suit gets damaged during shipping?
A: I carefully package every order, but if there’s damage upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours with photos, and we’ll discuss possible solutions.
